Wellness Exams

Pets of all ages benefit from a thorough yearly physical exam. This is the perfect time to learn more about the pet's behavior, nutrition, exercise habits, and to ask and answer questions. No question is too small, and my goal is to help you learn more about your pet's health and be involved in decision making.

 

Vaccinations

I vaccinate dogs and cats based on the recommendations of AAHA and AAFP. I would love to talk to you more about the individual vaccines that are recommended for your dog or cat as well as the proper vaccine schedule.  

 

Microchipping

Microchipping is a safe, effective way to identify your pet in the event that he/she gets lost. 

 

Health Certificates

Health certificates are often needed for intrastate and international travel. 

 

Heartworm and Tick Borne Disease Testing

Yearly testing for heartworm and tick borne diseases is recommended for all dogs.

In order to determine what a mass is and whether it needs to be removed, a few cells can be removed with a needle in a quick procedure and examined under a microscope.
